A classic 4-color Franklin piece from the fluorescent mineral capital of the world. Extremely bright canary yellow esperite with blue hardystonite, green willemite and calcite (red) from the Parker shaft in the Franklin Mine, New Jersey.
During its short time of operation, the Parker shaft produced some of the world’s rarest mineral specimens. These rocks have become known as “Parker Shaft Minerals”.

Red sodalite is named for the color it takes on when exposed to sunlight; it is nicely tenebrescent under longwave UV. Under shortwave UV the color deepens, in seconds, to almost black in some areas.
