Greenland
Greenland is home to over 250 varieties of minerals. Many of them are fluorescent and new ones are being discovered each year. Tugtupite is perhaps the most famous mineral from Greenland - famous for its deep saturated red glow. Sodalite (var hackmanite) has become famous in the past few years as one of the deepest “color-change” varieties found and is always in great demand. Other rarities include chkalovite, ussingite, sorensenite, polylithionite, analcime, and more. Many of these are tenebrescent, phosphorescent, and have varied responses under multiple wavelengths. All are excessively rare.

A relatively solid mass of pink tugtupite sitting atop a matrix of lujavrite and analcime. This is material often referred to as Taseq Tugtupite - but is not the typical veining in analcime, but much more massive. Upon exposure to UV it turns a deep pink, with areas of deep red.
