These pages present images of (mostly) fluorescent minerals from around the world. They are pictures of specimens that have passed through my hands and I found exceptional examples of pieces from a certain locale.
Greenland is very well represented here - primarily because that is the main focus of my sales. But I also have visited Norway, Sweden, and many localities domestically and have included examples of minerals from those locales. I have also included some key specimens from other collections that I have photographed over the years.
The gallery is divided mostly by continent, and the layout will probably change as time permits and I add more photos. I have usually only included my most recent photos as those are of the highest quality (I got a better camera).
I've also included a page on Photographing Fluorescent Minerals. It's not a detailed tutorial, but just a collection of hints and techniques I've learned over the years.
Sub-pages are included for major collecting localities.
View the "(All)" main page to see minerals from other minor localities not listed as a sub-page.
Be sure to visit Nature’s Rainbows, a non-commercial web site maintained entirely by volunteer hobbyists and contributors. They provide extensive information about UV and luminescence, premium fluorescent mineral photos, and a fluorescent mineral database for the enjoyment of FL mineral collectors around the world
