Yellow sodalite from the Taseq Slope is one of the more tenebrescent varieties of sodalite from the complex. It darkens to a deep grape purple after exposure to SW UV and the resulting color change is striking on the white matrix. Much of this sodalite can be considered to be quite gemmy.
