Sorensenite

Sorensenite is a beryllium tin silicate and is unique to the Ilimaussaq Complex. Massive pockets of crystal have been found embedded in large analcime boulders up to 25 cm across. It occurs in aggregates of slender prismatic crystals, mostly white to pale pink - some distinctly pink. Exposed mineral surfaces corrode to a pasty white.

Formula: Na4SnBe2Si6O18·2(H2O)
