Greenland is certainly a world-class locale for fluorescent minerals, but long before we brought this to everyone’s attention geologists had been exploring the various complexes for a wide variety of rare and unique minerals. The Ilimaussaq Complex alone is home to over 250 varieties, and many other complexes offer species which are often unique to Greenland. As we come across these various minerals we will try to include them here as reference.
