and Trip Reports
MinerShop specializes in minerals from remote localities such as Greenland and China. We collect minerals from all around the world, and often explore localities “off the beaten path”. We have visited the Ilimaussaq Complex (Greenland) yearly since 2001 and have an extensive amount of material on this world-class locale. Other explorations include China, Norway, Peru, and of course many areas within the USA.
This section deals with the localities we visit or specialize in, and the minerals found in these popular locales. Photos of both the minerals and the collecting areas, as well as locality information, is provided. More detailed information specific to the minerals can be found in the Mineral Data section.

 Greenland Locales - A general discussion of the Ilimaussaq Complex, South Greenland, and the amazing assortment of fluorescent minerals from that area.

 China Locales - Although a vast country with huge mineral resources, little attention has been paid to fluorescent minerals from this area. We are slowly developing certain localities and the results are encouraging.

 Other Localities/Trip Reports - Langesundsfjorden, Norway has produced some wonderful fluorescent material. Peru, Argentina, India have interesting material, as well as some lessor known locales in the USA. Most of the info here will be in the form of a trip report.

Mineral Gallery - The Mineral Gallery contains mostly images of fluorescent minerals we have photographed over the years - and are recorded in that section simply as a “database” of pics for those searching for a particular specimen.
