A blue variety of sodalite is found on the southern shore of the Tunuliarfik Fjord. Normally blue sodalite from other parts of the world is not fluorescent but this material is quite fluorescent. Additionally it is also quite tenebrescent. Most specimens are found in a layered habit, and occasionally as shown in these pictures - a massive gemmy habit.
