There are millions of colors, and fluorescent minerals can show up in every shade. To make matters worse, every
person sees each color a little differently. Further complicating things, computer monitors display each color differently.
This color chart lists the 14 different basic names I use to describe a color. I pick the color name closest to the
hue/color observed on the specimen. For example - many minerals have a yellow color which is also described as yellowish green". For this I list both "green" and "yellow".
